With Lafferty traded to Vancouver it opens up space for Noah Gregor to be signed this year after a decent training camp. Fraser Minten has earned an extended tryout for the first 9 games of the regular season to see if he can take hold of that 3C spot. I would have him playing with two veterans in Domi and Jarnkrok helping to set him up for success at both ends of the ice. Having Minten playing centre moves Willy back to his dominant spot on the wing and playing him with JT and knies could round out a fantastic top 6 forward group. Timmins starting the year on LTIR helps out the cap situation we were looking at and helps us keep him as it’s not unreasonable he would be taken if placed on waivers.

No spares are on the roster currently to help make the team cap compliant but we have lots of players just one GO station stop away playing with the Toronto Marlies so if we need someone.
