I don't think the Avs budge without Ellis or Eckholm. Emelin is there replacement, albeit a bit of a downgrade.
However, I think either is worth more than Duchene straight up, so we might get Blake Comeau thrown in for our RW issues.

You might be right, but using goals scored to compare a D man to a Forward is like using batting average to compare a Pitcher to a First Baseman. Eckholm plays a position that is greater demand today, and has a much better contract situation. For most teams, he would be a top line D man.
