Nelson had a fine season with 36 goals and 75 points. If he were to be inserted in-between Kaprizov and Zuccarello, he could do even better. The Islanders get Rossi, and the elder Brodin to replace Romanov and balance the cap hits. The Wild get the elder center but the younger defenceman.

I think maybe a pick or something else might be requested by Wild fans, as they are no doubt big Rossi fans.. and Isles fans may want something in addition to their scoring center and young D-man..

I think most of us Wild fans would be more upset about losing Brodin here. He's our matchup defenseman that goes out against McDavid/MacKinnon etc all night. No way in hell this even gets considered by BG.

Easy no for NYI. Romanov and Brock are both big pieces to us and too valuable. A Rossi++ deal for Brock is possible but we arent moving Romanov 23 year old Romanov for Brodin. Sorry brodin is good but we are old enough already

No. The difference between Brock and Rossi is far greater than Brodin and Romanov

Nice responses, thanks! I set this one up after reading that Rossi had put on 10-15 pounds in muscle since last season ... he could be poised for quite a break-out if he can keep his positioning with some better strength, win some battles etc.
