I would cry if Tampa gave girardi that contract... he's a third pair defenceman, and not even a great one. Palat won't make more than johnson, but I do like the offence with Boyle and Williams

agree with stammetime. girardi has to take much less. tampa will need some cap room in case girardi, dotchin don't work out and need another dman. might be too optimistic that sergachev plays this year with tampa, though it was a great trade for both tampa and montreal.

Yeah I think Girardi would be lucky to get $2m from us. He's already getting $1m+ from the Rangers. Agree that Sergie and team likely better off if he spends another year in Windsor. He certainly won't like it though.

Would love to see Boyle & Williams on the roster as well. Kristers will likely end up back in Europe. In any case he won't be in Tampa next year.
