You forgot perfetti on IR too

Will he be ready come pre season? thought it was still up in the air.

He's 100% ready, was confirmed in an interview with him as well early in the off season.

He was almost back for the playoffs he's fine for start of season

Wow, impressive... finally a Jets fan that know you MUST break up KFC, Scheifele and Ehlers. I "might" keep Ehlers with Scheifele instead of KFC and Scheifele but you have to break up those 3. KFC and Scheifele aren't good together. No one to back check, go in corners, go net front, etc. Those 2 will just skate around in the 50' foot zone waiting for a puck to score. Do NOT put KFC and Scheifele together.

One of my buddies has been saying the same thing to me and it makes total sense. Who would you ideally want in that spot from the roster? I love Perfetti's game but he's not that type of player either.

IF PERFETTI IS HEALTHY:
KFC - Vilardi - Ehlers
Vladdy - Scheifele - Nino
Lowry - Perfetti - Iafallo
Barron - Kupari - Apples

IF PERFETTI IS NOT HEALTHY:
KFC - Vilardi - Ehlers
Vladdy - Scheifele - Nino
Barron - Lowry - Iafallo
AJF - Kupari - Apples

Regardless of who's playing I doubt they play Lowry on the wing. He's too sturdy and good defensively to do that. I think having Iafallo on the third line could be huge for depth scoring though.

Lowry played up on the wing with Scheifele last year. It actually helped a LOT. Because 55 is too soft to do anything but stand in the slot.

Perfetti needs to start playing center. Keep him off the boards. The other option in that lineup would be to move Kupari up with Perfetti and Iafallo and move Lowry down to center AJF and Apples.

No concerns about Perfetti being too small to play centre? I feel like he's more suited to be playing on the wing.

He's too small to play on the boards / wing and go into corners. Safer in the middle like guys like Bergeron and Suzuki.
