A lot of average to mediocre players

Not necessarily a bad thing considering our injury history. Do want to see some scoring in the bottom 6 tho.

I think Granlund is on the 3rd, I know it was a rough transition last year but he still scored 40 pts and had 60+ the year before that. With an off-season to learn the system I don't see why he can't deliver a defensively solid 40 point season. There are so many bottom 6 options I'm sure he can develop some chemistry

This isn’t necessarily lines just positional depth. I know Granlund plays RW too but I kept him in the C spot. Team has stated that they view Eller as the 3C hence why he’s above Granlund

I think Sid is going to have to do again what we've always asked him to do. Take another guy under his wing and make him a star. Maybe Guentzel-Crosby-Acciari, Smith-Malkin-Rakell, Rust-Granlund-Nylander, O'Connor-Eller-Nieto/Johnsson
Carter, Rutta and a backup need to be moved. Use the money to upgrade 3RD(about $4.5M without retention)

Don’t know how I feel about Acciari as the 1RW. He’s a pure defensive and grit guy. perfect for the bottom-6. Now taking Nylander or Johnson on Sid’s wing and there’s a different conversation. Could open up both of their offensive potential.

I'm just thinking about how Dubas might envision the lineup based on what he's paid these guys(Acciari being the most at $2M). Acciari had a 20 goal 2019/20 campaign when he was playing with better players. Maybe Crosby can bring back that spark. Same could be said for Johnsson about his 2018/19 season. Nylander could definitely be a fit as well!

Would even like to see Puustinen gets some reps too with either Sid or Geno
