I know as a fan of the Leafs, you may not be aware of this, but the Sens can afford Sanderson without trading Chabot.

We got 5M in dead cap coming off the books, and cap going up by a few. Not to mention that once Kleven is ready, Brannstrom is likely gone.

The rest of the team is signed to pretty reasonable deals, so Sens shouldn't have a problem.

Unlike most SENS fans I'm not against moving Chabot, and have received much hate for suggesting it.
But I don't think Fowler would wave since his take-home pay would be significantly less in Ottawa than it would in California due to taxes.
