You literally can't offload Carter. How are penguins fans still so stuck on this?

there are three options for Carter:

1. He plays the season, or retires and his cap hit is on the penguins.
2. He requests a trade and there is actually a team that wants to trade for him (Lol, and penguins would have to retain b/c no team would willing pay his $3.125M cap hit).
3. He ends up on LTIR, which is a pipe dream and all the planets would need to align.

I could accidentally hit him with my car and hope both his legs stop working
