Rather keep labanc than take on 4 years of Goodrows awful contract. Tristen Robins is almost ready and we do not want Goodrow taking that role from a deserving rookie.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to take that contract on either. He was one of the easiest buyout candidates in the league too, now they’re probably just gonna keep him which will really suck. But yea I get it

Hes a good player that SJ took a lot of time to develop but his time in SJ is over and NY really screwed themselves with that contract.
