I don't think Scandella to Boston is happening now because we drafted yet another left handed defenseman in the top 2 rounds. That makes 2x 1st rounders and 2x 2nd rounders in the last 3 years. Eventually we'll need to have a couple spots open for them. I'd also not retain on Adam McQuaid for a 5th. Even though you didn't retain much it's kind of insulting to his value because he's a top 6 defenseman who can play 70 games a year. A 5th with no retaining is about right, maybe a 4th. I don't know who Gabriel Dumount is, so I'm guessing he's pretty bad.... like bad enough to not be a top 9 forward in any scenario, or he'd clearly make more than 900k. I'd almost rather put Nash on the 3rd C and Accari as 4th RW because I like Accari's game. I think Joe Morrow's deal is about right, he can play when someone is injured, as can Tim Schaller. I don't like losing Zane McIntyre and Malcolm Subban for nothing though, as you didn't resign them. Solid mock grade 3.
