Description
This was a ton of fun. Stevie Y has this team in the most perfect spot. I tried to be as realistic as possible. If for any of these you maybe think I’m a little shy on value there’s more than enough assets available to pay a bit more haha let me know what you think. Quickly to explain the Dumba signing I think he looks for a one year prove it deal and here he can be the #2 guy and get some PP time on a good team and sign for bigger when the cap goes up next season

I'd rather look for the next Barbashev at this point. We're not ready. For example Engvall 3/3

If we absolutely had to. I'd be okay with 5/4

Yamamoto is a buy out candidate, Not moving Zadina and a 3rd for him.

We're not trading Soderblom for a smaller winger, Detroit needs to get bigger and stronger up front. We trade for Yamamoto and then deal him to Philly for Konecny. That goes against what Yzerman stands for.

The Vegas trade is fine if we're out of a playoff spot. But not moving Kubalik just now.

You waisted the second retention slot for that small amount in that insignificant trade for multiple years? Strike 1

Used that retention slot trade, while giving away a potential (Barlow/Wood/Willander/Yager/Honzek/etc.) and Soderblom, while adding another 2nd for a player that will hold leverage in two years if he wants to re-sign or leave, "while the team in't competitive". Strike 2

Traded away one of two or three players that can score at all. Foul ball, still 0-2 on the count.

Signings and LiNdstrom. Strike 3, and thats the ball game folks.
