Rangers counter with Lafreniere, Goodrow and a 2nd for DeBrincat.

Drury's not gonna be too eager to trade a former 1st OA that still has a very high ceiling, PLUS another 1st, for a player who still needs to be extended.

That's even if he thinks he can make room for ADB. I think it's doable but it's gonna be tight and a few more moves are gonna need to happen. Giving away Goodrow here is gonna be necessary for the cap.

To take on Goodrow Ottawa would probably need another pick, but I think that 'could' work

If Goodrow had only one year left on his contract, he'd be relatively easy to move and would in turn make this trade you proposed a little more likely.

Him having 4 years left makes the contract difficult to move. A price tag NYR may not (probably not) want to pay. It's a lot of moving parts to add an 8M winger when you still have Miller to pay and other roster spots to fill afterwards.
