Rebuilding teams are not paying 1sts for 1 year of a player before he walks in free agency. Even if he chose to resign, his prime years would be wasted and by the time the team could compete again his prime era would most likely be over. Flyers decline

I wouldn't trade TK straight up for Nylander and any moves the Flyers make need to yield picks and prospects not give them away. If you are trying to be realistic it's not a trade the Flyers would have interest in.
