Description

Can the Rangers add Pacioretty, who’s been out twice with a torn Achilles, for a discounted price? Perhaps bonuses could be added to the deal. If he is injured throughout the year, Othmann can take his spot on the roster while Pacioretty goes to the LTIR. Most likely I’d assume Max returns to Carolina to try and play a full season.

I would not want patches, he's probably cooked. Two achilles tears on the same foot is almost career-ending.

If only they had kept Buchnevich. For now, though, Kakko and Laf will probably take Kane and Tarasenko’s spots. They want more playing time anyways, and the team was unhappy Gallant didn’t give them that.

They want more playing time but they're not consistent players, NYR is historically bad at developing forwards, so it comes as no surprise. Just because they want more playing time doesn't mean they get it, still has to be earned.
