The Jets don't have space for Proverov to play, and their defense is already too expensive. Otherwise I kinda like this deal

Deal isn't the worst, but I don't think either team really goes for it. Jets can't afford Provy's cap hit and have other needs, and the Flyers don't plan on trading for vets/star players as they are starting a rebuild. Its a fun idea though.

I’ll be honest, I like this from a Jets perspective. I doubt that Philly does this though. Why give up a younger goalie for one year of each of those players.
Jets would have to dump a few other guys to make the money work, but I think this would benefit the Jets big time.

Philly 100% declines. They are rebuilding this trade does the opposite of that for them
