Flower and Knight realistically aren’t getting moved. Binnington is awful and a head case so not sure why anyone would want him. Helle and Hart seem like ur best options to me. Helle is a win now trade which I’m not sure OTT is exactly ready for whereas Hart will be there for the whole window

Helle will resign if he believes it's his best chance to win. His goals line up with Ottawa's window to win.

If it wasn't for the fact Knight went into the player assistance program, I'd probably agree. It'd probably be in poor taste for Florida to move him anytime soon though unless he specifically asked to be.

A Flyers fan calling Binnington awful is cute…dude wins in the playoffs which is something no one on your team does

Binnington: SV% average in playoffs: 0.903, GAA: 2.74
Hart: SV% average in playoffs: 0.926, GAA: 2.23

Hart is younger and half the price and not a head case lunatic running around the ice trying to fight everyone. Does Binnington win in the playoffs or does his team carry him? Cause Hart has better playoff averages but his team sucks. Congrats he had a magical cup run, which doesn’t change the fact that he has a cup, it also doesn’t change the fact he has been terrible and a liability since then.

Yes this is sour grapes but firmly believe the Blues would have beat the eventual cup champs in Avs last year if Binnington doesn’t get hurt. So he’s been good to great during stretches since the cup run, but yes there has been some bad in there. I could do without his theatrics but he’s wired like Roy and Belfour - the lunacy makes him play better. Any team that struggles to win in the playoffs would be smart to get Binnington. He might have been Blues MVP this reg season also as the defense and forwards’ defense was atrocious for much of the season. Can never prove this but believe if Leaf’s had Binnington this year, they would have beat the Panthers.

I forgot that, that’s fair, but I was thinking it’s more along the lines of giving him a better chance to start
