Five Stars because it's well thought out as a exercise. However, practically speaking it has problems. $7M/yr. for a third D pairing is really really expensive. But that's not a criticism just pessimism.
Schultz at nearly $5M is way too high in my opinion. He's elevated in everyone's mind because he played so much in Letang's absence. He'll either come in much lower ($3.8/yr.) or be traded (this would be my guess, not my wish).
You'd prefer Brendan Smith at $3M/yr. over Daley at same price?
