Now that’s a nice return for mathews. It’s true though that if he does get traded the acquiring team is going to pay a Kings ransom for him!

Hard No. Kings aren't going to give up their entire future for a guy who no-shows in the playoffs every year. If they want him, they will sign him as a UFA, but even then I doubt they want to invest that much cap in the guy on the milk carton.
