Calgary already traded for Mike Smith fat chance that Treliving has an overpaid Howard as a backup, And seeing that Abdelkader is already on the protected list what you proposed isn't happening. And besides Holland wont deal futures just to get rid of bad contracts any ways.

This was a pre-protected list/trades and getting rid of as much cap space as possible scenario (why I called it "Pipe Dream" haha). I agree Holland isn't going to anything near this, but a man can dream. I'll probably end up doing a more realistic scenario later.
