It’s not debatable, but 2 years with 4 million more, then god knows how much on the next contract compared to keeping our first and second and 5 more years of whitecloud sound a whole lot better especially with our cap the next two years, then it’s time to pay Theo…

Not just that…Whitecloud was and UDFA we developed and paid. It wouldn’t be a good look to those future ones if we traded a guy that took a pretty good hometown discount imo. Could have signed 2-2.5 for 3 years but added way more years

While you always look into adding a piece like Provy, and the cost you outline is close to fair (a bit of an overpay IMO), it just doesn't make sense for us from a cap perspective. Lots of time for Whitecloud at a cheap rate, he's a great guy in and outside of the room (while Provy has some character issues), Whiteclouds relationship with GMKM since childhood, and our younger guys will be seeking paydays soon, this is gonna be a pass from VGK. Most other teams like us would take it though.
