I like this, it looks really good. I wish O'Reilly would take less but i cant see it. They can alternate Schenn and Timmins all season. Only thing i would change is Murray I cant see him staying on LTIR for the season and he will be replaced by woll as the back up. there are alot of team in need of a goalie next season, there will be 16 teams who have goalies that expire at the end of the season and have played 10 games or more this season. There are only 5 goalies that have higher save % but have played a lot less games. you could probably move him fairly easy and free up some more cap space to carry some extras.

Take less? ROR is already taking a 3.5 mil paycut here. LOL

yes he is but how many 33 year olds make more than they did when they were younger, he has to take a pay cut no matter where he goes, no one is offering him 7.5 mill when he is 33. 4 mill would look fine next season but my concern would be year 3 and further depending on the term. if it is a 1 year deal then sure. if you keep him then you have to resign Matthews, Nylander, Marner and JT over the next 2 seasons. money will be tight.

I definitely see ROR taking less to stay in Toronto. He's an Ontario boy from my neck of the woods. Great guy. Everyone points out the Gio paycut to play in Toronto but he was much older than ROR is. Leafs won't be the only team bidding on him but I'd have to think they're #1 on his list. That's an enormous paycut.
