It would be cool if Armchair GM's weren't exclusive to the NHL. Sometimes you have to move players to the farm team, but once the ACGM is posted, no user can even see what the AHL team looks like. Moreover, and sort of doubling down on that, I'd be interested to see AHL ACGM's be available to create, if it being one and the same with their respective NHL team just isn't practical. Additionally, it would be interesting to be able to apply the ACGM model to support CHL teams, as well as other development leagues around the world. The reason why I propose this, is because it would ultimately negate the need for the 'Create Player' function, for the most part. From the NHL ACGM perspective, integrating actual usage of draft capital by means of simulation and position in the standings would greatly benefit from having those development league teams on deck. Ultimately, it would add a new wrinkle to the ACGM interface that could potentially enhance the experience even more, and even be an opportunity to learn more about players who are up and coming.
