Description
Just some ideas for players the Isles have been linked to or I think would fit with them
Let me know if the values are there or how theyd shape up
Transactions
1.
NYI
  1. Duchene, Matt
Détails additionnels:
Hamonic for Duchene straight up is apparently the front running offer but I dont know how much I believe it so I tossed in a 2nd
COL
  1. Hamonic, Travis
  2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2017 (NYI)
2.
NYI
  1. Kane, Evander
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2017 (WSH)
Détails additionnels:
Nelson's a RFA and Kane's a UFA after next year. Produced similarly the past 3 years (Nelson 127 points, Kane 100 but also played less games) I've heard Kane's been being shopped around and while it is a swap I think Kane could slot in on the 1st or 2nd line. I'm personally not the biggest fan of Nelson but he is a consistent 20 goal scorer, do think Kane could light it up alongside Tavares though. Also think Nelson has more value for the sole reason that he's team controlled and will likely get a smaller contract than Kane while putting up similar points.
BUF
  1. Nelson, Brock
  2. Choix de 5e ronde en 2017 (NYI)
3.
NYI
  1. Panarin, Artemi
  2. Choix de 3e ronde en 2017 (OTT)
Détails additionnels:
Finally an elite winger for Tavares, obviously comes with a price and for a cap strapped team like the Hawks I dont know how much cap they'd be trying to take on so I figured some smaller contracts, picks and prospects should get this done. Maybe I'm being way too optimistic on Panarins price or maybe I'm way off, I'm not sure. All I know is that Chicago is going to need to move some contracts and I think this may be the right package considering their cap issues.
CHI
  1. Dal Colle, Michael
  2. Pulock, Ryan
  3. Strome, Ryan
  4. Choix de 1e ronde en 2017 (NYI)
Détails additionnels:
2017 4th round pick (NYI)
4.
NYI
  1. Tanev, Christopher
Détails additionnels:
I'm pretty high on Tanev and I think more Islander fans should be. Assuming they trade for Duchene, Hamonic is all but gone and if the Isles can't figure something out with De Haan he's as good as gone too. They're gonna need to replenish the short term D-Core and the defensive presence Hammer and De Haan brought. The Isles were also 22nd in GA last year so even if they somehow keep Hamonic and De Haan I'd still love for Tanev to join the team.
VAN
Rights to Kieffer Bellows or Dal Colle
    2017 1st round pick (NYI)
    5.
    NYI
    1. Eberle, Jordan (1 000 000 $ retained)
    Détails additionnels:
I know most Oiler fans want Hamonic as a return for Eberle but Snow rejected Hall for Hamonic so I honestly can't see him going that route. Not sure if Oiler fans would be on board with that but I personally think the value is there.
    EDM
RFA Rights to Calvin De Haan
      2017 2nd round pick (NYI)
      6.
      NYI
      1. Nugent-Hopkins, Ryan
      2. Choix de 1e ronde en 2017 (EDM)
      Détails additionnels:
Nelson's a consistent 20 goal scorer, very team friendly contract. Tossed in De Haan as another option because I've seen Oiler fans wanted defense in most of their mock teams. RNH fits a need for the Islanders but has a pretty bad contract so if he comes back either salary needs to be retained or a pick needs to come back. Personally I think this trade works out for both teams.
      EDM
Brock Nelson or RFA Rights to De Haan
        2017 3rd round pick (NYI)
        7.
        NYI
        1. Anisimov, Artem
        2. Choix de 2e ronde en 2017 (CHI)
        3. Choix de 4e ronde en 2017 (CHI)
        Détails additionnels:
If the Isles can't land Duchene or RNH I'd be on board for an Anisimov trade. Not sure of his value honestly because playing alongside Panarin and Kane definitely boosts stats, but he is a solid 2 way guy, which the Isles need desperately so the points arent a huge factor in this. I think the Blackhawks are gonna need defense as TVR is apparently gone and I'm pretty sure Hammer is sort of being shopped around. Hickey can fill a top 4 or top 6 role on an extremely reasonable contract.
        CHI
        1. Hickey, Thomas

I'm pretty sure it was more Kane fighting against the whole team. Ladd never really had a problem with him, it was Kane thinking the whole team was out to get him and pointed out the leaders of the team as a reason why he acted the way he did, saying nobody backed him. I do think that being around a new group of guys including Ladd could change things but who knows, it's also a business and I think Kane is starting to realize that more and he's gotta conduct himself in a more positive way and I think a change of scenery could help. But who knows I'm just tossing out a what if and Kane has been linked to the Isles for a couple years and according to a few reporters Kane seems to be on the Isles radar.

you may be right on that but i do know that i think it was an interview from last year where kane was asked if he could fight anyone in the league he would want to fight either wheeler or ladd so something like that seems not worth the isles risk

Whho knows how it would shape up if they traded for him, but he does fit a need for the Isles and there has been intrest the past few years so who knows
