Brassard won’t be moved. He’ll play his 1,000th game on Thursday in MSG and then the team will have their ceremony for him on Saturday while Columbus is in town.

Ignoring that, why would the Sens want to bring Hoffman back? The extra couple points he scores wont make up for his inability to back check.


Holy crap, I almost forgot Hoffman makes 4.5 million this year and next. This would be a hilariously bad trade for Ottawa.

No reason for either side to make this move. If Brassard is moved it will be to a playoff team for a late-round pick, nothing more nothing less. No one is touching Hoffman with that horrendous contract.
