Knies is overrated. Hartman could pull a 1st with his contract. Dumba maybe a mid to late 2nd at this point. I do want to sign Holl to a cheap UFA contract this summer though.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Knies is the next messiah like some might, but he is still a very very solid player who plays with some grit and good skill. I think that this would be a great deal for the wild personally, but that is just my opinion.

Idk, I just view him as the third wheel to two star prospects in Cooley and Snuggerud. I was completely unimpressed when they played played my badgers a couple of weekends ago. Knies might be an okay 2nd liner one day in the NHL.
