Its not about Rangers giving a try to Krav. Its about Krav give up on Rangers.

Kravstov isn't cutting it in NY and needs a change of scenery. He doesn't add any value to the line up right now, so why give him another chance? Trade him and let him try to make it on a team that isn't as deep on the wings as the Rangers.

bread seems to like him and i think there's potential. if there's a team that wants to give us a middle 6 player than yeah sign me up. otherwise, he doesn't have crazy value currently

The insurance he offers in case of an injury in the top 9 during the playoffs is more valuable than any 2024 3rd round pick that will never make the AHL.

Everyone keeps talking about his potential but I have yet to see it on the ice. Granted, his time on the 4th line is no indication because he is not suited for that role and they never should have played him there, but in his time in the top 9, I have not seen much from him. He has been OK at times and down right bad at others. He is not a very physical a player and seems to shy away from contact much of the time. I don't see any scenario where he fits for Gallant and Drury who both want gritty players, and it's only going to be more physical come the playoffs. The kid ran away twice and has now requested a trade twice, so obviously he wants out. There comes a point where Drury just has to admit the organization made a big mistake drafting him and send him somewhere else for whatever he can get.

First off, you don't know a 3rd round pick will never make the NHL, that is just silly. Second, who says they have to trade him for just a draft pick? Maybe use him to get a real upgrade for the playoffs, like Motte or Accari, players that can actually help try to win a cup.

Insurance is nice but Kravtsov is soft as butter, plays scared and loses puck battles. He might get points some day, like Spooner managed somehow, but most likely in khl. Baby fat with no work ethic, sure it takes a while but he's no Kovalev or Buch, or even Prucha, closer to Brendl
