Simply put, PIT doesn't have the assets to get Meier. Especially if Bones is added to the deal and the Sharks are taking back a cap dump

It doesn't matter. His point is that SJ wants an elite prospect and they don't consider any of Pittsburgh's prospects elite. Which is fine, it's why I added an extra 1st and their choice of prospect, but that isn't going to cut it. He believes Meier will bring back a top 25 prospect in the NHL in whatever trade is made, which he should, but that isn't always the case.
