Fix the Defense this year and see how the forwards play. Use 2nd round picks on Defense (Brannstrom if available) and Goalie (Oettinger?.
With 2 first round picks in 2018 (Detroit's own and from Green trade) get Centers.

Why are you giving up Russo and Sproul for basically nothing to avoid losing one of them to the draft? Why not just take the risk?
