It's a something for nothing trade. Vancouver receives 2 spring tryouts for 2023/24 in Engvall and Kerfoot who are UFA's come July. They get a reboot project in Robertson when he's healthy, and they get the OHL leading scorer in Voit and Ottawa's 3rd in 2023 which will be early in the draft. All for 2 UFA's that won't help a non playoff team in the Canucks and won't be back next year. Just say yes Rutherford.
