None of these trades really make any sense, and neither does the money and term involved on the signings.

Huge undervalue on Vatanen.

Why is Vegas giving us a draft pick and they take Marincin and pending UFA Hunwick?

The Chicago trade doesn't make sense since TVR is an established 3rd pairing guy, yeah it sounds like he will get plucked by Vegas but trading him for a guy that isn't exempt plus tacking on a draft pick doesn't seem to be logical in my view.

The last 2 trades don't really make sense either, why does San Jose trade for the rights to a guy who's a UFA, plus I think they're happy with their goaltending situation. The leafs trading Bibeau away for scraps would mean they're trading away from a place they lack depth, yeah you have those other signings (Grubauer wtf?) but I think they hope Bibeau can project a few years down the road to be an NHL goalie.
