If montreal decides to move Sergachev I would be shocked if it was for Duchene, I really think Sakic screwed the pooch with Duchene and would have got more for him if he moved him at the deadline.

Well, BSN reported that front offices around the NHL still hold Duchene in high regard. Sure, there is a question about last season, but that shouldn't diminish the return significantly. Remember, there are several teams that desperately need a top-6 Center, so there will be competing bids.

Just to be clear I do not mean to imply he will be cheap now I just do not think montreal would be willing to move sergachev for duchene. Duchene is still are really good player but he hurt his value enough that I do not think Sakic will be able to hit a home run trading him. The return will still be good and which ever team they end up trading with will have to give up fair value but I do not think it will be a trade where people look at Colorado as the winners of the trade which is how I view the trade above.
