Not enough for vatanen. Top 9 F 2nd rounder and an AHL player does not do it. I propose Kane and fasching for vatanen. Also you can't retain salary in the expansion draft and d lo won't be protected so they could get him for free not for compensation

Not sure about that. I think that deal for Vatanen gets it done. We may to give Fasching & Bailey, but Vatanen's price just went way down. He might not be ready till November/December, and its either get something or nothing. Thx for the correction!! I didn't know that you couldn't retain salary in the expansion draft!! Go Sabres!!

I agree with Eichel, Vatanen's injury does not affect his value so much that you can get him for two players I have never heard of. I would actually argue that his injury will not affect his value at all.

I agree with Eichel, Vatanen's injury does not affect his value so much that you can get him for two players I have never heard of. I would actually argue that his injury will not affect his value at all.


The injury and the fact vagas would take them lowers his trade value but not that low its better then losing him for nothing. the point is other teams will try to trade for vatanen as well so we need to compete against them
