Domi would be fine for the same price as last season's deadline. Otherwise a pass. Murphy isn't good and isn't needed in Toronto whatsoever.

Gio, Sandin, Holl, Benn,
and pretty close if not better than lily and brodie

Man would you be disappointed once he played a few games in TO. The guy is a pylon. He's "the best defensive" defenceman on a very bad team. That doesn't mean he's good, it means he's just not as bad as the other very bad defenceman Chicago has. Murphy is one of the worst fits for the Leafs system league wide. He'd be not much better than Benn in our system. Way too slow to match the pace we play, no skill to move the puck well. He's just big and some GM's seem to think that's worth a lot of money still. He's Gudbranson who looks terrible if you are paying him more than 2 million at most. Even then I think he's overpaid.

The system of small and mobile for all 6 D is not going to win you tough games. Which what playoffs games are like.
Again he is better than more than half of our D now.
