RFA Assumptions

1) Assume Samsonov is a more than serviceable backup this season and gets 3x3 to stay on as a 1B

2) Assume Aube Kubel, Abruzzese, Mete and Gaudette play OK and are brought back in a bottom line role.

Promotion Assumptions:

1) Topi Neimela comes over starting 2023 and is able to make the lineup

2) Nick Robertson becomes a full timer in 2022 and stays on the team.

3) Matt Knies joins the team to start 2023-24 out of camp.
Trade Assumptions

1) Sandin is traded somewhere before the 2022 December RFA deadline and is no longer on the team.

Departure Assumptions

1) Kerfoot, Holl, Kampf are either dealt before 2022-23 starts or finish their season and go to UFA.

UFA

1) Bunting signs 5x4.5 after another decent season alongside Matthews Marner.

After this, Leafs have 4.5M to sign 3 forwards.

1) Connor Brown loves Toronto and comes back after his year in Washington for 2 M
2) Bozak comes back to Toronto for his final season on a cheap deal.
