Roussel isn't going anywhere and Emelin is not the answer we are looking for on the left side this year.

Actualy, the most valuable piece would be beaulieu. Maybe a change of scenery would help him reach is potentiel to be a good puck moving top 4 defensman. He has potential but will not acheive it in Montréal. Emelin is a good number 5 and could be traded if need be at the trade deadline as he has only one more year to go.

But I understand you do like Roussel He has play is junior hockey in my home town and always liked him!

The Beaulieu part is the one that intrigued me, and I would say yes to trade if yall brought back Hamhuis instead of Roussel. Hamhius makes Emelin redundant in Dallas on the left side. We need a top 4 LHD that can keep up with Klingberg and Honka. We only have Lindell who really can.

Curios JD00, why will Beaulieu not achieve his potential in montreal? He is exactly the type of defenseman montreal needs to play with weber... he should've been there last season but the team opted to go with emelin who literally drags his partners offensive play down with him. If a coach gave him the opportunity he would achieve his potential.. it's the perfect situation for him in montreal.
