80 points in the ohl isn't that impressive being the highest scoring CHL leauge also is a small winger which isn't a need for us the 1st is nice, Sadin doesn't move the needle with us being so deep on the Left side, Kerfoot is a rental, it comes down to it not fitting our needs more than it is value

asking price would probably be a 1st Liljegreen and Knies

As I mentioned already in a different thread, in your eyes, everyone on the Leafs is junk. Everyone one every team is a bad contract except the Canucks. Guys making less money and producing the same or more are bad contracts. Holl has out performed Myers for the past 3 seasons and yet to you, the guy making a 3rd the salary and performing better is the bad contract. That's pure Homer insanity.

Good players on good contracts cost alot more imho especially since no team is rushing to help us with our cap mismanagent

I think Voit is still a valuable prospect considering the massive leap he took this year in his second year in the O. Could see him being a scoring top 9 winger in 2-3 years.

As for that offer I'd be ok with moving Liljegren to get Miller if we can somehow piece together our right side but would have a very hard time giving up Knies. Maybe could do Robertson instead but even that is tough.

Our cap mismanagement is overblown I think. We still have decent cap flexibility to acquire either a top 6 forward or a top 4 RHD since we have contracts like Kerf, Holl and Muzz that would be easy to move out. Sure it would've been nice to get Matthews and Marner at slightly lower AAV but ill take those two with those contracts all day vs not having them
