Description

Overall, I don't see the Rangers going crazy this offseason. Keeping pretty much the same team going forward. Georgiev and Gauthier leave for some late round picks. Braun comes back to serve as a bottom line defenseman. They bring back Copp and Motte on even deals for both. Bring in Halak as a backup goalie. There are other moves to be made, but this is the most realistic. This could very likely be the opening night roster. Doesn't have to be Braun (insert 30+ year old defenseman that puts up 15-20 points) and same goes for Halak (there are plenty of equivalants in Free Agency)

I agree, I think this is close to what you see. I think if they sign Copp, its unlikely they sign Motte unfortunately because I think he gets more on market (2-2.25 AAV). I would also say they need to not sign anyone else over 1 year as next years cap trouble could be bad. I worry about a Miller offer sheet that they can't match.

yeah the miller offer sheet is something to look out for. they better hope they can move pieces around if and when that happens. the motte move could go either way. he seemed to like playing here and recent reports are saying he wants to run it back. if he gets around 2m, i think he stays
