Please stop with Petersen to Detroit for a 3rd. Almost 4M for another 3 or 4 years. Pay to unload the contract. Detroit doesn't need a deal like that when all they really need is a stopgap until they know what they have in Edvinsson, Johansen, Walinder. They also need to give Sebrango and McIsaac a shot. Both those guys could very well provide what Petersen brings, and with no acquisition cost and a quarter the salary.

Hard no on Myers. Retaining on Zucker would be almost $9M this season and $6M next year for a player who is worse that the guy we pay $800K!! Trading Pettterson and POJ leaves us short a 7th D.
