      Shattenkirk will ask for more. And Tanev is worth more and the Canucks would want younger players and/or picks for him.

      solid review. All your trades make sense in my eyes. Thats the deal Ive been thinking we get for Kovy. Maybe instead of the second we get another young prospect and like a 5th to go with it. On the Tanev deal, I don't really know his value but do GM's? With the expansion draft anything can happen. We saw it yesterday with Bishop being dealt for only a 4th round pick. Also the defense is the only thing the devils should worry about. They can't move the puck and keep Cory protected. Maybe look into acquiring a big name leader in the bottom 6. Perhaps Dwight King on a small contract? Brings some grit to that young and unestablished bottom 6. Really like this evaluation.
