You sure you don't want Dallas to throw in Robertson here? What about Oettinger? Heiskanen? If you're going to completely screw Dallas, you might as well go all the way and trade for everyone.

Geez, this is absolutely atrocious for Dallas...and I like Marchand. There's a less than 0% chance you get the equivalent of FOUR 1st Round Picks for a guy that's starting to get a little long in the tooth.

U have Radek Faksa's underratedly albatross anchor of a contract in there to give the Bruins, would have to give us at least Maverik Bouqrue for the Bruins to take that

Is Faksa overpaid? Absolutely. But $3.25M is far from an albatross of a contract. You want to see an albatross? Look at Benn & Seguin’s contract.

No team is giving up a top prospect (among so much more) like Bourque just to shed $3.25M in cap space. If Dallas trades Faksa, they’ll pay a 3rd, MAYBE a 2nd Round Pick in order to move him. Any team wanting more than that can both not calling, because Dallas will decline. It would be better to buy him out at that point.
