I think they leafs would look at samsonov, but Mrazek wont be that hard to move. Kallgren probably wont go the other way as they need a guy to be #3 that can go back and forth to the AHL

Seattle isnt expecting to be anything, they would take a draft pick. They could then play him and hope he rebounds to flip him at the deadline.

When it originally was signed it seemed to be decent, campbell was coming off a good end of 2020-21 season but getting a solid backup to help him out in case he couldn’t keep that up seemed like the smart move. Clearly hasn’t been the case here

Don't see Schultz or MoJo coming back unless they take league min deals. Kase and Kallgren aren't the kind of guys caps would want, would rather just take a second for samsonov. Hathaway and Dowd were really good last year -- they will be on the fourth line not scratched or buried in the AHL. Hagelin and Eller moved and another top 6 forward signed.

Don’t sign Schultz. That trade with Toronto is pointless for the caps and that tandem is a downgrade from last year.
