I'm not sure how. This is with the assumption that fiala signs a 7 year deal with NJ before being traded. He's a 30 goal PPG winger entering his prime. Fiala is worth more than just an A tier prospect.

An A tier prospect and a late second early third is market value for an elite scoring winger.

It's not a late second early third, it's pick 37, an early 2nd. And yeah sure, he scored 30 goals last year and was a PPG but that far outclassed any of his previous seasons. He doesn't have the proven track record of a PPG player although that would be the hope to continue that production as he enters his prime. And you're correct that that would be his market value, but with those buyouts coming down the only way to drive up his price tag in a trade is to hope for a bidding war between teams, and with a good amount of top line wingers on the market this year (DeBrincat, Gaudreau, Forsberg, even Pastrnak, Tkachuk, maybe Nylander could possibly be available), many teams could quickly pull out of a bidding war and direct their focus to other targets.
