This is not my favorite. Edler is on the wrong side of 30 and we're not 1 piece away from a cup IMO. I'd rather keep Grizzy and see if he becomes a Krug type player, which would allow us to trade the real Krug for an enormous amount. Fair value for Krug 2 years from now would be a same aged top 6 F or a 1st + Prospect. I'd rather gamble on getting that return, than gamble on Edler being the missing piece for a Cup. Grzelcyk and Krug are small and offensive defenseman. That's where the comparable end. If you think Gryz is going to become a Krug, you're going to be disappointed. They're different players.

Grizzly is as clutch as Krug and better defensively. I didn't say they were mirror images, I said "like Krug" which he is. Name 5 players more comparable to Krug than Grizzy who are the same size, skill set and Left handed. You simply can't which is why it's a legit starting point. No-one in the NHL is the exact same as someone else. Not even McQuaid and K. Miller. I thought you would have had that figured out by now.
