Description

If Backy doesn't return, who do you want at 2C?

Who is realistic and what would you pay?

I put them in order of my preference.

I like McMike but think third line with Osh and Sheary would be perfect for him. I want eller gone and do not trust him at 2C. Lappy is not ready.

Caps need a top 6 wing. Who would you want for this? Ignore contract values.

Finally who do you guys want for goalie?

1. Trade Samsonovs rights and get a true starter with VV backup (Gibson maybe? or even Varlamov)
2. Sign Nichushkin - top line winger
3. Trade for Schmaltz at 2C or go after PLD.
4. Fix up defense (Sandin/Kulak).

Caps could also use a guy like Nick Paul or even better - Copp. First time in years they have some money to play with as Backstrom likely LTIRetires and Wilson out for a while.

None of these will prob happen and they will get older and slower. Either go all in on a heavy retool or blow it up IMO
