Description

Fitz is waiver exempt. Peterka starts on the energy line, moves up and down as injuries dictate. Similar path to Pominville. Husso and PL can battle it out on prove it deals. Have to give Husso extra $$ for short deal.
I just don't see any trades this offseason. Especially at goalie. There is nothing to move off the roster. No room at forward. Plenty of "free" D available. Jeff Petry is about the only reasonable D i would trade for. Any potentially available goalies have contracts that do not work here long term.
EDIT: yes, they do need bottom depth on D. that will may take a trade, but that won't effect this roster.

Agreed. with the PK contract. And while I don't love the second line, Krebs would be far better on the wing with Mittelstadt at Center. I'm not loving the progress Mitts is showing over the past year. I think Cozens will be better poised for that C2 slot. I also think Girgensons is near the end of his life in Buffalo. The Sabers would be better running Thompson, Cozens, Krebs down the middle with Mittelstadt on the fourth line or even scratched depending on who we get at 9OA. I could see Lekkerimki getting a shot part way into the season if he's got at 9th after a time in Rochester.
