Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

This is how I think the Bruins should approach this offseason. The core is aging and it is time for a new regime in Boston. First thing that needs to happen is Sweeney and Neely need to go. Second thing that needs to happen is to let Bergeron walk. Once Boston commits to the rebuild they must sell assets before they decline in value. They should also be willing to take on bad contracts as a way to get more assets since the Bruins prospect pool is one of the worst in the league. Remember that most of these deals do not have to happen with the specific team I mad the trade with, and it doesn't have to be for certain assets, this is just a look at how the Bruins should approach the offseason in my opinion.

definitely could get more for brad, as far as prospects are concerned, I would wager that you could probably throw in tulio or holloway and still have it be accepted, if not even more.

I would like to get more for Marchand however he is 34 years old. Last season he got 1.14 points per game and the 4 years prior he got 1.26 points per game, so the regression is starting to show.

The Bruins can lie to themselves and say they are a contender but what good does that do for the franchise? Trade more future assets, sign horrible long-term contracts just to lose in the first round again? Its time to reset and go through a rebuild.
