Imagine 2014 edm trading their 2015 1st to florida for the 2014 1st overall pick, they get ekblad and drai that year.. yea seems like a good deal except that 2015 pick was CONOR MCDAVID. Thats pretty much what Arizona would be doing and there is no way they do that idk why people think this is gonna happen.

True but its unlikely that wright turns arizona into a playoff contender next season and they will most likely finish in the bottom 3 again next year. Its also a huge risk for montreal because what if somehow arizona is a contender and that #1 pick turns into a #16 pick. It just seems like a very risky trade leaving it all up to chance for both teams and i dont think nhl gms do that.

Yes we did have 1 GM that had Steel Ba!!s. Sam Pollock made the trade to get Guy Lafleur and it worked out by some miracle. It could of back fired. Check it out
