Timo this year has fs been better, but it’s more than just this year. If Meier has another elite year like this tho, then he 110% moves above those guys and more

Timo has 2 60+ point seasons, 2 30+ goal seasons. Cirelli has never hit 50. It's a no brainer. Before this year Roope never got a 50 point year and even this year he has less points than Timo haha. Do your stat work first. It this is really about more than just this year than Timo is miles better. Roope didn't even sniff 45 points before this year. lol

He's not trash but he doesn't belong this high. He is way overrated by users on this site. And in no way shape or form is he better than Timo who has been FAR more dominant than Cirelli and it really isn't close. Especially considering Timo has been on one of the worst offensive teams in the league the last 3 years. If he were on the Panthers or Avs he would be a 90+ point player easily.

In the 2 years before this, Cirelli produced close point totals to Meier, not to mention without getting top PP, but that’s not why I put him there. Cirelli is one of the best defensive forwards in the game. Meier isn’t horrible defensively and is closer to average, but Cirelli is a pure shut down beast who also provides 2nd line quality offence. I chose Cirelli over Meier because of this (that 1st 30G/60P campaign of Meier you mentioned was a few years ago. He wasn’t very good the 2 years before this). As for Hintz, he greatly outproduced Meier last year and maintained relatively close numbers this year, while also being the better defensive player. You can’t say Hintz didn’t even sniff 45 points before this year when he put up 43 in just 41 games.

Again, Meier has had an absolutely amazing year, but the 2 years before were pretty dissapointing. He can easily overtake imo by next year if he has a great year, but it’s very close in my eyes between the 3, and I prefer the defensive upside the others provide
