I think the Sharks should get rid off Marleau and Jumbo. At this point it is also not likely the will resign both because Jumbo wants a 3 year deal, and Marleau wants at least 5m I would hate to see them leave but I think with the 12m in cap the Sharks save in cap they could sign cheaper an somewhat younger pieces such as Hanzal (Who if signed will keep the size that Jumbo brought to the team. Although he is nowhere near the play making ability of him it is almost impossible to find some that is, he is a solid 20 goal scorer and 40 point player that can replace the aging and more and more injury prone Jumbo, who could have the freedom to sign with a cup contender and go on one or two final cup runs. ) Marleau however can be replaced by a player such as Vanek or even Oshie if he slips through the Capitals fingers, though I doubt he will. These moves will create cap to sign better depth scoring players a backup goalie to help Jones with the load (ex. Thomas Greiss) and have more room to work with while finalizing deals. Although it's not exactly Jumbo and Marleau, Players such as Hanzal and Vanek in my mind can help the Sharks make it as a second seed in the pacific, and possibly farther, and don't talk to me about the loss of playoff experience with these deals because the pairing of Jumbo and Marleau did not win a thing. I like the DeMelo move however because I would like to see him play as well
