Description
Yes this team is over the cap right now but the cap will increase 3-4 million by the time this rolls around so we will be under. This is what I think would make the team better. Sign all the young guys to deals that are long, and keep the core together for a few more years. The teams that I'm trading to can be interchanged, they were just teams I thought of at the time and might be interested.

        This isn't too unrealistic other than 2 points:

        If Semin does well in MTL, he's either getting a 2-3 year deal somewhere for something like $3m+ or he's going to Europe/Russia. He's not taking $1m a year again, that's for sure.

        Secondly, Girardi is a very meh defenseman (if you believe in fancy stats) who a team like Detroit would really have no inclination to take on. Not unless you're retaining about $1.5m in salary at least.

        Everything else looks realistic.

        I agree with this.

        And Buchnevich would be wasted playing on the 4th line anyways.... no point in having Semin.
